The hotel offers an excellent experience with beautiful pools and well-kept gardens. The breakfast was a standout, with plenty of options to choose from. Though the dining options could use improvement in terms of variety and accessibility at different times, the overall atmosphere was delightful. Access to the beach and promenade made for enjoyable strolls, but the dining experience, especially at the pool bar, did not meet expectations.
Our experience at Pestana Promenade was mixed. Although the staff worked hard and the location provided easy access to Funchal, we were disappointed with the quality of the room and facilities. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the cleanliness of the pool area left much to be desired. Unfortunately, we left feeling that it wasn't a place we would return to.
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The cleanliness and attention to detail were remarkable, and the staff's attentiveness made my stay more enjoyable. I particularly loved the peaceful ambiance, but there were times when noise from neighboring rooms could be heard. Overall, it's a great choice for relaxation and leisure.
I had a fantastic time at Pestana Promenade. The hotel boasts a lovely outdoor pool area and beautiful gardens that really enhance the overall experience. Although the dining options weren't as impressive as I had hoped and some areas seemed a bit tired, the amenities and friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. I appreciated the convenient access to the promenade and local attractions, but I do think the hotel could improve on certain details.
The hotel offers a lovely outdoor pool area and is situated right along the promenade, making it easy to explore Funchal. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which really enhanced our stay. On the downside, the dining options, especially during dinner, left much to be desired as the quality and selection were underwhelming. Additionally, while the room had a beautiful view, the lack of adequate sunlight and noise levels could be an issue for some guests.
